As soon as I had a moment to check out ALL the pieces from the new collection and the book that spills all the insider secrets, I knew I had to sit down with this fashion guru and get the entire dish.

Jaye Hersh is a true retail expert and knows all the ins and outs of the trade. Hersh, who has been seen on everything from SNOB Style TV to Good Day LA to Extra has made a name for herself as the woman that knows the next “Big Thing” or the current Celebrity “Must Have”. Fashionistas such as Eva Longoria, Miley Cyrus, Audrina Patridge, Lindsay Lohan, Julia Roberts and Jessica Simpson are just a few that rely on Jaye to stock the HOT Intuition boutique with the labels and accessories they need to own. Jaye Hersh has teamed up with Target to launch Hollywood Intuition, a unique and versatile accessories collection that brings celebrity style at guilt-free prices. Who doesn’t love that? “Target is known for celebrated design at an exceptional value,” said Hersh. “Collaborating with Target on a collection has always been a dream of mine. 1. What made you want to have a career in the Fashion Industry?

I have always had a passion for fashion. I even won best dressed in High School!

2. You are the Queen of the “Must Have”. From your expert opinion, what makes something “Must Have” worthy and how do you pick your “Must Haves”?

My definition of a “Must Have” is something that is coveted and hard to get.. and once you have “IT” you really appreciate wearing it.

3. Your book, Hollywood Intuition is filled with tips, tricks, and advice; what is your favorite tip from the book and what is the number one thing we should learn from it?

My favorite tip from the book is always listen to your Intuition. If you feel good about yourself from the inside, you will always feel your best on the outside.

4. Who is your favorite Celebrity to work with?

There are so many to choose from...at the top of my list is Amanda Bynes and Sarah Michelle Gellar...also Heidi Klum is a joy

5. What was your goal when you set out to create your NEW Hollywood Intuition accessories line for Target?

My goal was to be able to expand my exposure to women who love to shop and can’t get to my store in Los Angeles.

6. What is your favorite style from the line?

I am partial to things that have more than one purpose. There are many items in the collection that can help the woman on the go “Multi Task”.. I would say my favorite style is the Tote with Scarf, because it is a three-for-one. I love that you can use the tote alone, the cosmetic bag (which comes inside) as a clutch and you have a fabulous scarf that will add a pop of color to any outfit.

7. Which style do you think will be the top seller?

I would have to say it would be the large tote. It is a great multi functional bag at a fantastic price.

8. Who is your favorite Fashion Icon?

My favorite fashion icon is Audrey Hepburn.

9. Which do you prefer: The Fashion Show or Project Runway?

I prefer Project Runway..maybe because I really love Heidi.

10. Favorite Trend of all time.

The little black dress craze started by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

11. Least favorite Trend of all time.

Grunge and shredded anything..

12. Who is someone in the Fashion Industry that you would love to collaborate and work with, and why?

Karl Lagerfeld, because he is a genius and my favorite designer.

13. What is your guilty pleasure?

Having my hair blown out everyday

14. What CD is in your car stereo right at this moment?

Van Morrison greatest hits

15. If you were a shoe, which kind would you be?

A nude Louboutin platform pump

16. What is the one item from your wardrobe that you CANNOT live without?

White button-down Theory blouse and my favorite Serfontaine jeans.

17. What is your favorite Reality Show that you can’t miss?

I am really not addicted to reality TV but I enjoy Project Runway and I do like Dancing with the Stars..

18. If you could host a dinner party and invite any four people from the past, whom would you invite?

Frank Sinatra, Katherine Hepburn, Coco Chanel and Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis

21. If you had ten million dollars that you had to spend in one day where would you go and what would spend it on?

First, I could never imagine spending that much money in one day. Honestly, I would select some charities; donate a portion to them and save the rest.

22. What is the number one classic “Must Have” that everyone should own?

The number one classic “Must Have” would be a functional black bag that could take you from day to night.

23. Where do you see yourself and your business in five years?

Shopintuition will be the leading “Go-To” fashion destination and I will continue to spot the trends and identify the latest “Have-to-Haves”
