Oscar Celeb Survival Must Haves: SJP's Look E-mail

This year the Oscar Fashions, Looks, Hair and Makeup was nothing less than F-U-N. Whether you loved or hated the “Look” the Starlette went for this year, we can all agree that it was pretty entertaining. Limo after limo the parade of the Hollywood Style A-Listers did their best strut down the Red Carpet. Although the many of our favorites were noticeably missing like Kate Hudson, Halley Berry, Jen Aniston, Reece Witherspoon and many others, we still had a few go-to favorites to rely on for cutting edge visual stimulation.

A complete look SNOB Style just can’t get over was the irreplaceable and ultimate fashionista...Sarah Jessica Parker. From head to toe SJP owned the look of the “Chanel Girl” with her confidence and TRUE love for dressing for an occasion leading the way. Her modern interpretation of the 60’s look was On-Point from her un-tressed sectioned bun to her Chanel Temporary Tattoos that were HUGE on the runways of New York Fashion Week. These subtle edgy twists showed off this Fashionista’s true knowledge of trends and love for the look.

To complete her look, SJP and her Glam Squad did an exquisite job of balancing her fashion-forward look with beautiful evening/special event makeup. The slight shimmers, natural smokey eyes and bronzed glow was the perfect canvas to compliment her total look.

With our SNOBsession for SJP’s perfect Oscar Red Carpet look we turned to Celebrity Makeup Maven, Kerry Malouf to get the 4-1-1 on the Oscar Red Carpet Survival Must Haves so we can all be Red Carpet Ready like SJP. Kerry has MAJOR makeup experience, and has primped everyone from Emmy Rossum, Lauren Conrad and Blake Lively to Ginnifer Goodwin, Audrey Tatou and Kiera Knightly. We were lucky enough to chat with Kerry fresh off her Red Carpet tour for Shutter Island to get some of her favorite Red Carpet Tips & Tricks, Survival Must-Haves and Step-by-Step to achieving SJP’s perfect Red Carpet look.

Sarah Jessica Parker appeared to be inspired by the modern Chanel couture gown she wore. I love the classic style she chose from head to toe! Her makeup was a downplayed bronzy~sexy look. Perfect..,flawless skin, a hint of color on her cheeks and classic smoky eyes framed with lashes, and finished off with the nude lips.

I love clean, natural, flawless skin as much as I love using clean, natural makeup. I use environmentally conscious products as much as I can. The product's I suggest for you to use to create Sarah's look I use on myself, and can’t live without! Sarah's look is surprisingly simple to recreate and I will walk you through the process, step-by-step, to achieve this elegant quintessential look.

Want some great insider Celeb Red Carpet Tips & Tricks?

Here are some of Kerry's favorite professional tips that we can all use!

1. The best way to make your lipstick stay on is to line your lips and fill them in with your lip liner. Then add a thin layer of your lip stick. Pat it with a tissue and then add another thin layer of lip stick, or add your gloss. And don' eat! :) It does work to add powder to your lips, but it's not very comfortable. I'd rather reapply after a few hours.

2. To prevent Eyeshadow from creasing you an Eyeshadow Primer or you can use your Concealer on your eyes, and blend.

3. People with oily skin for a foundation that is oil free and a translucent face powder to prevent the face from becoming greasy. Applying blush and eye shadow available in the powder form will also help in reducing the greasiness on the face. Using bloating paper to bloat out the excess oil from the skin at regular intervals is also good way of oily face control.

4. Individual eyelashes make your eyes amazing and are well worth the patience it takes to apply on yourself. Once you get the hang of it your golden, but allow some time to get the hang of it. Using tweezers, you dip each individual lash in the lash glue and then place on the lash line. Then pinch the false lash together with your real lashes. You can either apply 3 on the ends or a full row.

5. A great way to ensure you face has a great glow and you face looks its best, is to prep your skin. I love to use Juice Beauty's Green Apple Peel. It is completely and natural and organic and leaves your skin soft, fresh, clean and hydrated.
